This, being my first Pearl Jam show, was one of the best nights of my life. The boys are on tonight, absolutely blistering up through Daughter. And then they REALLY turned up the intensity. "Evolution" is a standout, with Ed's growly voice hitting every note perfectly. "No Way" is played by request for the first time EVER!! (It seemed as though Ed had to talk Stone into playing it, Stone seemed hesitant at first). The final four songs are nothing short of ETHEREAL...Mike's solo on "Black" remains the best version I've ever heard. The lights come up for "Rockin'" and everyone's singing along with their hands in the air. During the middle of the song, Ed looks over the crowd and says, "You should see this Man! You should see this!" An unforgettable show, an unforgettable night. (sorry for the cliche, but it's true).
